WERSTARS
This product allowed users to view the photos, videos and diaries they have with loved ones and would be a virtual photo book for the ages. Werstars tagline is “cherish the moments” and that is where my focus was when redesigning the interface for browsing content on the app.

The Project
The goal of this project was to redesign the user interface of browsing content posted by a user. Improving the visual design and usability was the main challenge working with WERSTARS.
Rapid Prototyping
Since the client wanted detailed mock-ups in a short deadline, going straight to high-fidelity mockups was the feasible option. In order to avoid going back and forth of design choices, I asked them what user interface they found interesting. That way I could use that as a benchmark for creating the screens which gave me a clear direction of the new UI. This led me to going for a card navigation where the content would expand revealing more information.
Interaction with Animatons
Working with Adobe XD has made the prototyping process a lot smoother with its Auto Animate feature. Linking artboards and adding animations in between was helpful in showing the client how the user interaction would look and feel.
